Vertical-axis wind turbines, or VAWTs for short, are more attractive and better suited for use in cities and urban environments where wind flow is less predictable. This makes VAWT a better choice for ground mounting and/or installation on buildings and roofs, which would otherwise limit the installation of higher level turbine structures.
Additionally, this type of wind turbine is omnidirectional, meaning it does not need to orient the blades into the oncoming wind, as it was always designed to be. Then, the VAWT has no complicated yawning or tail fin requirements to ensure it is always facing in the right direction.
Thanks in part to their simple low-friction vertical blade design, vertical-axis turbines have relatively low wind speed cuts, allowing them to operate when surrounded by buildings and infrastructure, regardless of wind characteristics or direction. Another advantage of vertical axis wind turbines is that they can be placed close to the point of use, reducing the load on any existing grid infrastructure and promoting sustainability while reducing any environmental concerns.

Advantages of Vertical Axis Wind Turbines
You might be wondering why you would consider using VAWT instead of HAWT. Actually, there are many reasons for making this decision. Let's take a look at some of the advantages that can come with using this type of wind turbine at home.
You can build wind turbines close to the ground, so if you don't have a suitable roof placement, or if you live where there are hills, ridges, etc. that obstruct the flow of air, they will be perfect for your needs.Because the VAWT is installed closer to the ground, maintenance is easier, construction costs are reduced, and it is more bird-friendly without damaging wildlife.
Introduction Of Model
H Vertical Axis Wind Turbine Generator is a major type of vertical wind power generator products, for the H series, the output capacity covering 1kw-30kw,with voltage range of 12V/24V/48V/96V/120V/220V/380V.The default model has 3 blades which are made up of Aluminum Alloy, however, apart from the default blade options.Jiangsu Shenghuang is able to customize the blade quantity as per client's need.In addition,it adopts three-phase Coreless Permanent Magnet Syncronous Generator, which comes with low starting torgue.
Feature
1. Low Start-up Wind Speed
2. Three Blades
3. One year Warranty
4. Flange Connection with easy installation
5. Certified with:CE, RoHS and ISO 9001 2000
6. High-efficiency coreless disc generator
Application
1. Marine,&Boat
2. Streetlights
3. Home, Openning Plaza lighting.
4. Wind&Solar Hybrid System
5. Monitoring device
6. Factory
Characteristics
In addition to the obvious advantages of reducing energy bills, other advantages of choosing a vertical wind turbine include:
Compared to horizontal axis wind turbines, they are stronger, smaller, quieter, more economical, and omnidirectional.
1. They can be arranged close to each other (unlike horizontal turbines), saving even more space.
2. They do not place too much mechanical stress on the support structure.
3. They don't need high winds to generate electricity, so they can be placed closer to the ground.
4. Because they are closer to the ground and their design allows mechanical elements to sit on their bases, they are easy to maintain, less likely to kill birds, and do not hinder helicopter operations or radar.
5. Their noise level is very low. On the ground at a distance of 10 meters from the tower, the recorded value of the horizontal wind turbine is about 95 dB, while at the same distance, the recorded value of the vertical wind turbine is only 38 dB.
