SECM series solar MPPT controllers are intelligent controllers specially designed for small off-grid photovoltaic power generation systems. Based on the advanced MPPT control algorithm design, this series of products adopts an integrated all-cast aluminum heat dissipation shell, which is elegant, economical and practical.

 

As the name suggests, hybrid systems combine two or more modes of power generation, often using renewable technologies such as solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind turbines. Hybrid systems provide a high level of energy security through hybrid power generation and are often combined with storage systems (batteries, fuel cells) or small fossil fuel generators to ensure maximum power supply reliability and safety.

 

A hybrid energy system consists of multiple power generating devices or systems. The term "hybrid" is a biological term now used in science and technology to refer to the mixing of two or more genetically distinct systems.

 

During the day, the additional auxiliary power consumption of a solar thermal power plant is close to 10% of its rated capacity to extract solar energy in the form of thermal energy. By envisioning a hybrid solar power plant on site, combining a solar thermal power plant and a solar photovoltaic power plant, this auxiliary power requirement can be obtained from a cheaper solar photovoltaic power plant. In addition, to optimize the cost of electricity generation, electricity can be generated using cheaper solar PV plants (33% of electricity generation) during the day and solar thermal storage plants (67% of electricity generation from solar towers and parabolic troughs) for the rest of the day ) to meet 24-hour baseload operation. Protection

Solar anti-reverse charging: In the case of poor light such as at night, the voltage of the battery may be higher than the terminal voltage of the solar cell array. The controller has an anti-reverse charging circuit to prevent the battery from reverse charging the solar cell.

 

Reverse battery connection protection: When the battery is reversely connected, the controller will not work and no display will be displayed. An internal fuse protects the controller circuit. If the battery does not work properly after connecting the positive and negative poles of the battery correctly, just replace the fuse.

 

Battery open circuit protection: After long-term use, the battery may have an open circuit or poor contact. The controller will protect the device itself from damage when the battery is open circuited. Please check the wiring connections regularly.

 

overvoltage and Load overload protection: When the battery voltage reaches the overvoltage point, the controller will disconnect the photovoltaic charging circuit. The controller load will automatically cut off the circuit in case of overload.

 

Power failure protection: When the controller is working normally, when the battery falls off or the lithium battery protection board is protecting, the controller will stabilize the photovoltaic voltage at the equipment working voltage point to prevent equipment damage.

 

Lightning protection: Lightning protection refers to the last level of protection necessary for equipment. For lightning-prone areas, it is necessary to use a multi-level lightning protection system composed of special lightning protection devices. If the user has this requirement, it is necessary to increase the corresponding power distribution system and cost, which should be stated when ordering.
